HISTORY OF MANGO MOON

Michael commenced Writing, Producing and Directing Super 8mm Films and Videos since he was age 14. He won the Dux of Art in Film-making at High School and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) in 16mm Film, Video and Sound. He officially entered the industry at age 18 as a 2nd Assistant Director and Chauffeur to Mr Richard Roxburgh (whom had just completed NIDA) and his first Feature Film An Ordinary Man Nee David.

After College, he ascended the Industry Ladder over 20 years and Earnt His Stripes to become a credited Film-Maker.

On the 9.9.99 he registered the world first brand Mango Moon. Today there is a gamut of Corporations and Industries around Earth whom have adopted his Mango Moon brand name: everything from Clothing to Music; Hotels to Advertising; Yachts to Dharma Products and more.

Between 2003 and 2005 Michael was the Founder, Developer and CEO of Listen While You Wait (LWYW) which revolutionised the On-Hold Messages Industry with high levels of creativity, entertainment and innovation. Listen While You Wait is now a brand name under the NBC umbrella in New York in the USA.

Recently, Michael has brought to fruition a further 2 Feature Films: Associate Producer for Revenge Of The Gweilo, and Co-Producer for Colourblind starring Ms Jane Badler which had its 2 red carpet premieres in the Chinatown Cinema and The Backlot Studios respectively in Melbourne Australia.

By virtue of his three Features he can now liaise with and apply to both Australian and Off Shore Government Funding Organisations for future projects.
